This is a series of Alumni testimonials from University of the Arts, about the recent closure.
University of the Arts was abruptly shut down by their board of trustees overnight...then forced to give at least a week for staff and students by the Middle States Commission.
UArts is almost 150 year old and founded modern day Broad Street, Philadelphia's downtown "spine", as real estate developers like to phrase it, while discussing a potential fire sale of UArts real estate.
Students were billed as recently as two days before the closing with that tuition still in limbo and the board of trustees and lawyers claim they don't have enough to pay salary owed to staff on top of tuition held hostage as students are told to transfer somewhere else.
Help get city, state, and federal support to save UArts and investigate potential criminal neglect if not sabotage.
