The Hairdini Substance Graph makes use of 0-1 texture space so each Hair Card has edge feathering.  Above is an option to use a texture atlas to put smaller hairs in the left partition and darken them to thin them out (adjustable).

Comb map data is also stored in the Houdini HDA in addition to the Substance Comb map output.  Mix them together to highlight curls in your hair and each strand.

The Substance Designer Comb map mixed with the Houdini Comb map data, which is stored in the Houdini HDA's uv4 and uv5 attribute sets and are pulled into Unreal Engine via a texture coordinate node.

The Hairdini Package is a pair of Houdini HDAs that allow you to input a Houdini Hair Curves object and automatically makes hair cards that are auto UV’ed. It also includes a Substance Designer Procedural Hair material as well.

This is a TWO HDA system. You have a main Hairdini HDA that makes the hair cards. And you have the Hairdini Helper HDA that helps set up multiple Hairdini wigs and auto UVs them, auto light maps them, and even adds Pivot Painter support. It also includes a Hairdini Substance Designer Material that is custom built to work in tandem with the Houdini HDAs.
